cudf-tools software package provides command line tools for package upgrade problem descriptions, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cudf-tools
cudf-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cudf-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cudf-tools *
You will get with cudf-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
